Pilotlight is headquartered in Seattle, based out of 9Zero — a climate innovation hub with locations in Seattle and San Francisco where founders, engineers, investors, and policymakers working on climate solutions share more than just a workspace. We share ideas, connections, whiteboards, and coffee with people who are just as serious about solving this problem as we are.
Because that's how big ideas actually happen — not in isolation, but in conversation. When the right people are in the same room, thinking about the same challenges from different angles, something clicks. That's the environment we choose to be part of, every day.

Building Potential
Building Potential is a nonprofit trade association dedicated to removing carbon emissions from building energy use through market-based advocacy, education, and thought leadership — serving as the industry's voice on state and local policy while keeping members ahead of a fast-changing landscape. Jeff Nichols serves on its Board of Directors alongside other leading figures in energy efficiency and building decarbonization, helping shape the direction of the industry he's helping to build tools for.
